Overview

We are proud to have partnered with Wates and Settle Group to deliver a large-scale renewable energy rollout across their social housing portfolio. As part of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2, we successfully installed high-efficiency solar PV systems for over 200 homes, helping to tackle fuel poverty and significantly reduce carbon emissions for residents.

The Challenge

Large-scale social housing projects require more than just technical expertise; they demand precision logistics and a "resident-first" approach. The goal was to deploy bespoke 6–8 panel solar systems across diverse property types while ensuring minimal disruption to the occupants’ daily lives.

Bespoke Technical Design: Every property underwent an in-depth design phase. We tailored each 6–8 panel system to the specific roof orientation and energy needs of the building to ensure maximum yield and ROI for the client.

Resident Liaison & Engagement: We managed the end-to-end communication with Settle Group occupants. By acting as a friendly, professional point of contact, we ensured residents understood the installation process and the long-term benefits of their new solar systems.

Streamlined Logistics: Coordinating 200+ installations requires military-grade planning. Our team managed the entire supply chain and onsite scheduling to keep the project on track and within the SHDF compliance windows.
